Privacy Policy
- Privacy at a Glance
-
This privacy policy explains which data is processed when you visit this website and when you use the Numfred App. Personal data means any information that can personally identify you.
We take the protection of your data very seriously and deliberately design the website and app to use as little data as possible. We process personal data only when this is technically required, when you actively send us data, or when a legal basis permits it.
We do not use cookies or external analytics or tracking services on our website. At the hosting provider, we have disabled server log files and automatic analyses. Our own anonymous counting consists only of aggregated, server-side counters (+1), for example for page views, entries, external referrer hosts, device types, browser languages, times of day, and clicks on certain external links. For this, we do not store IP addresses, user agents, full referrer URLs, cookies, or user identifiers.
Data that you actively send us, for example by email, is used to handle your request. Depending on the content of your request, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual or contractual communication) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries). We store this data only for as long as required to handle the request or as long as statutory retention obligations apply. Please note: Email communication can be insecure. For confidential information, we recommend encrypted communication.
- Anonymous Counting on the Website
-
For technical control and improvement of the website, we count on the server side and with minimal data how often pages are accessed, whether an access was an entry, which external referrer host triggered an entry, which device type and primary browser language were used, and how often certain external links are clicked.
This counting does not store individual events relating to identifiable persons; it only increments aggregated counters. We do not use cookies or external analytics or tracking services for this. We do not store IP addresses, user identifiers, or connected visit histories. With this design, it is not possible to infer individual visitors. To the extent that personal data is processed briefly during technical delivery of the website, this is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in secure, stable, and data-minimizing operation of the website.
- Data Collection in the App
-
The Numfred App itself does not collect personal data. We do not use our own analytics, tracking, or advertising tools, and no personal data is transmitted to us.
Apple may process data under its own responsibility in connection with the App Store, iOS, and optionally enabled diagnostics or analytics features. App Store Connect may show us aggregated reports, for example about downloads, purchases, app usage, crashes, or diagnostic information. These reports come from Apple; we do not use them to identify individual users.
The Numfred App stores settings and progress data exclusively locally on your device. This data does not leave your device and is not transmitted to us or third parties. There is no user account, no login, and no server-side synchronization by us.
- In-App Purchases
-
When you make in-app purchases in the Numfred App, these are processed through the Apple App Store. We do not receive payment information, your Apple ID, billing address, or any other personal data in connection with these transactions.
For payment processing and use of the App Store, Apple is an independent controller. You can view Apple's privacy policy here: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
- SSL Encryption
-
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the browser address changing from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser.
If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
- Your Rights
-
Subject to statutory requirements, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to certain processing. Because our anonymous counting is operated without user identifiers, individual page views cannot be assigned to a specific person or filtered out on a personal basis.
If you believe that personal data is being processed in violation of the GDPR, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. This right to complain is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.
- Changes
-
We may adapt this privacy policy if legal requirements, the Numfred App, this website, or the actual data processing changes.
The current version published on this page applies.
